One account per person.

One account per person. If you provide an ID number, the system confirms no one else registered with the same document. The number itself is not stored; a reference is kept in its place.

Document verification is being added as the system grows. When it is ready, everyone already registered will be asked to confirm. New registrations will do it at this step.

By default, the network sees a display name, not your real name.

A real name, alongside a location, can let others guess at things like caste or community that have nothing to do with the work. So by default the network sees a display name we generate for you, never your real name. You can pick your own display name below, and you can choose to show your real name instead — but that is always your choice, never the default.
